Michael R. Black, DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Black graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida with a
BS in Exercise Physiology. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Dr.
William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of
Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. He completed his Podiatric Surgical
Residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Black has completed Fellowship Training in Advanced Reconstructive Foot and
Ankle Surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA and Foot and Ankle
Traumatology at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, CA.
Dr. Black has also received advanced training for Internal Fixation in the Foot
and Ankle, Microneurovascular Surgery and Ilizarov external Ring Fixation for
Correction of Limb Deformities.
Dr. Black is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.
